Education

My undergraduate studies in studio art at California State University, Long Beach, exposed me to a wide range of media, such as fiber, ceramic, wood, photography, and metal. The medium can be a bridge between the artist and the audience. While creating art with different materials, I learned the significant influence of contemporary art on people's views: breaking through the things that restrain people's minds and spirits and leading people to become more independent and free.

My works indicate that the transformation of art in the age of digital media has created new possibilities for expression and distribution and has also led to the degradation of the medium. In recent years, the world of contemporary art has been transformed by the rise of digital technology and the proliferation of new media. With the advent of digital media, the traditional art medium has undergone a fundamental shift, as artists have begun to explore the possibilities of new forms of expression made possible by digital technology. At the core of this transformation is how we define the medium of art in the digital age. With the rise of digital media, the line between what constitutes an art object and what constitutes a digital image has become increasingly blurred.

My works are a reflection of the artist's role in challenging societal norms and perceptions through the transformation of art in the age of digital media. They have not only created new possibilities for expression and distribution but also led to the evolution of the medium. My works demonstrate the transformation of the medium from physical particles to digital pixels, breaking the medium's boundary, and exploring its materiality. Art creation allows me to see the world, think about myself, and get inspired. I strive to break stubborn inertia and perceive the connection between people and society from different perspectives, challenging the status quo and sparking conversations about the impact of digital media on our lives.  My approach embraces uncertainty, framing disruption as an opportunity for connection and discovery. This participatory element transforms mystery into a shared exploration of digital instability.
